Helen R. Antenucci died on Thursday, September 25, 2014. She was 82. Born in Brooklyn she lived in Ridgewood and Wyckoff before moving to Midland Park. Helen was a secretary to the Chairman of the Board at Merrill Lynch in New York City before retiring in 1963. She was a member of the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus and a member of Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club in Jupiter Florida. Helen’s husband Carl A. Antenucci died in 2002. Survivors include her two sons Carl Steven Antenucci, Paul Charles Antenucci, her daughter Laura A. Anderson her husband Joseph, three grandchildren: Owen, AJ and Ellie, a brother Arthur Rynander, a sister Patricia Thompson and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 2-5 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The interment will be private. Ellen Stewart (Maxwell), 75 -of Bonita Springs, Florida and EHT, NJ passed away on September 23, 2014 at her daughter’s home in Linwood, NJ surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Ellen was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Eleanor Maxwell and brother Charles “Bubby” Maxwell . She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, David R. Stewart ; her daughters, Tracey Miller Geary (Joseph) of Linwood, NJ and Tamara Miller Lamb (John) of Egg Harbor Township, NJ , stepson Chris Morgan (Shannon),GA; grandchildren Samantha Lamb, Jake Geary, Natalie Geary , Jonathan Lamb, Alexa Morgan and Reese Morgan; siblings, Doris Liekfet (Fred), MD; Arthur Maxwell (Dee), Absecon, NJ; Lewis Maxwell (Nancy), Mays Landing, NJ; Deborah Cavileer (Benjamin), VA, sister in law Nancy Maxwell, Laureldale, NJ; best friends Charlotte Price and Sandy Hesser, and many nieces and nephews. Ellen was a 1957 graduate of Pleasantville High School and worked as an office manager for many years before securing her real estate license in 1972. She founded SANDELL Relators with Sandy Hesser and they went on to win numerous multi-million dollar sales awards throughout NJ. Known for her extraordinary kindness, her 24/7 dependability and her work ethic, she would go out of her way to help people secure their special home. A lifelong champion of women’s rights, Ellen was generous and outgoing, helping start the first Brownie and Girl Scout Troops in EHT, The AC Knitting Club that made items for area hospital patients, as well as working for many cancer support groups. She loved traveling, entertaining, knitting, reading and mahjong; but was most passionate about her grandchildren. “Mom Mom’s” verbal encouragements, sharing of a good book , New Year’s Eve celebrations, Spring Breaks, Video Gaming, and Miss America Contests will be sadly missed. Visitation 5:30pm-7:30pm followed by Funeral Service, Friday, October 3 at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St, Mays Landing, NJ 08330 Burial will be private. Predeceased by her parents; her siblings, Nicholas Filippone, Anna Soltis, and Josephine Gorab; and her loving husband, Samuel Mustrat, Sr., Jennie is survived by her loving son, Samuel Mustrat, Jr., and his wife, Nancy, her cherished grandsons, Jared and Nicholas Mustrat, dear sister, Lucille Sawchyn, and many loving nieces and nephews. John Hansen, age 81, of Basking Ridge, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 25, 2014 Mr. Hansen was a native of Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Paul and the late Nora (Flaherty) Hansen. He proudly served his country in the Navy from 1952 to1956. He was truly a great man with a wonderful sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Wilson) Hansen, his loving children, John Hansen Jr. and his wife Mary, the late Annemarie Cooney and her Husband Michael, Paul Hansen and wife Wendy and the late Steven Hansen, and his six cherished grandchildren, James, Jack, Steven and Maggie Cooney and Sam and Nora Hansen. John was predeceased by his dear brother Paul “Bud” Hansen. A funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am on Monday, September 29, 2014 at St. James RC Church, Basking Ridge, NJ. Visiting hours will be Sunday, September 28 from 12:00-2:00 & 4:00-6:00 PM at Valley Memorial Funeral Home, 1012 Valley Road Gillette, NJ. The final disposition will be held in private. Caring grandfather of Daniel, Stefani, Rylee, Robert, and Alexandra. Norman was a self-employed roofer who enjoyed sports, country music, taking vacations, and walking the boardwalk. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. James Michael Turanicza, Sr., 52, of Jackson passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014. James was born in Frankfort, Germany, grew up in Edison and had lived in North Brunswick before settling in Jackson in 1993. He was a correction officer for Middlesex County Department of Corrections for 25 years and a member of PBA 152. James was a member of the Olive Branch Lodge #16 F. & A.M. of Freehold. He coached little league and brought his team the Royals to win the Championship in 2001. James loved his country and served as a U.S. Marine. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting with his sons. James was also dedicated loving father and new grandfather. He was predeceased by a son, Sean Turanicza in 2012; and a brother, Robert Turanicza in 1987. James is survived by his wife of 25 years, Nancy Turanicza of Jackson; a son, James Michael Turanicza, Jr. of Voorhees; two daughters, Madeline Marquez of Jackson and Breanna Turanicza of North Brunswick; a granddaughter, Dakota Sean Marquez of Jackson; his parents, Andrew and Arlene Turanicza of Edinberg, VA; and a brother, Richard Turanicza of North Brunswick. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Beltran, Adela, 89, of Atlantic City, was born to Isidoro Beltran and Carmen Ferray on 7-14-1926 in Guanabacoa, Cuba. After a short illness she departed this life on 9-23-2014 surrounded by family and friends Adelita, as she affectionately was was called, received her education in Habana public system and the conservatory of music, she became a professional singer, beside singing she enjoyed all kind of craft. She survived by three children: Mercedes, Jorge and Manolo Beltran, three sisters: Luz Marina, Aida y Martha and her brother Isidoro Beltran and his wife Lidia, her nieces Olga Burton and Elsa Garcia, Carmen Julia Gonzales, Keisha Hall, she is also survived by nephews Tony San Pedro, Javier Garcia, Armando Hall and 32 more nieces and 2 nephews in Cuba. A visitation will be held Sunday Evening from 7- 9 PM at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Road Northfield, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday Sept. 29, 2014 at 10:00 AM with a viewing prior to the mass starting at 9:00 AM at St. Monicas Parish 108 N.
